Frequently Asked Questions
-
What does Pathcheck cost?
A Pathcheck Essentials account is free.
Pathcheck Plus provides additional value including verification history, goal reminders, Verification Assist, and our featured meetings list (pricing).
-
How do I find meetings that offer Pathcheck verifications?
Look for the Pathcheck logo on the meeting listings provided by various recovery programs. Today, SMART Recovery USA is the largest provider of Pathcheck meetings.
Pathcheck Plus subscribers can also browse featured meetings from across the Pathcheck network, right inside the Pathcheck web app.
-
How long do I have to be in a meeting to qualify for a Pathcheck verification?
Pathcheck doesn't have any minimum requirement for how long you attend a meeting. However, Pathcheck verifications show how long you attended each meeting.
It is up to you (and the individual or organization requesting the verification) to determine whether the attendance percentage of a given meeting is acceptable.
To avoid the risk of your verification not being accepted, plan to attend the entirety of each meeting.
-
Can Pathcheck send my Pathcheck verification directly to those who are requesting a copy?
Yes, Pathcheck will directly email your verification to whomever you want to share it with.
You can add these email recipients to your profile so they're used for every verification, and you can customize the recipient list on a per-verification basis.
-
Is there a limit to how many Pathcheck verifications I can get?
No, you can get verifications for as many meetings as you like. However, you may only get a single verification for each meeting you attend.
-
How soon after a meeting ends can I get a Pathcheck verification?
If your meeting ran its full scheduled duration, you will be able to get your verification within a few minutes after the meeting host ends the Zoom meeting
If the meeting was ended early, you will be able to get your verification after the scheduled end of the meeting.
Keep in mind that there might be instances when a meeting host stays on the call with a participant beyond the scheduled meeting end. You’ll be able to claim your verification once the host ends the call.
-
Are Pathcheck verifications archived so I can refer back to them or have a log of meetings attended?
Only Pathcheck Plus subscribers can access their verification history and the ability to re-send any of those verifications when required.
-
I have a goal to attend a certain number of recovery meetings. Can Pathcheck send me reminders?
